I used to believe that God knows everything. That was until my frustrated friend blurted out the other night, “only God knows,” after he’d been looking all over the house for a receipt and couldn’t find it. That got me to wonder, does God really know everything? I know when I lose something I say a silent prayer to God to help me remember where I put it and for the most part something strikes my memory and I find it or I realize it’s really not that important. This got me thinking. All of us have lots of stuff. Does God really know where every little red superball is? According to one source, at peak production they made 170,00 superballs per day.
How in the world does God store this information? In a large room with filing cabinets? If so he must have a whole floor dedicated to just red superballs. This seems a bit ridiculous to me. God, being so powerful, someone who can perform miracles and create worlds, you’d think he’d have something better to do then keep track of all out trinkets. Maybe he created the show Hoarders to help Americans slim down on our stuff so he won’t get burnt out with keeping track of all of our stuff.
Laugh all you want at this ridiculous post, but think about it. Maybe it’s time to share some of your treasures. Do you really need everything you have? Maybe you can bless someone else during this holiday season by sharing some of your treasures. With the economy as it is you may become someone’s angle, a heaven-sent for someone in need.
(Pictured above are offering set out by the Balinese people. While in Bali I saw them everywhere. The Balinese people are continually thanking God for all they have.)
Love it!
