I talked to my dad yesterday and he may be onboard for skydiving. His birthday is at the end of this month and I suggested it as something fun we can do together. Last year we went shooting and then Go-Cart Racing, if we go skydiving I’m not sure how we’ll top it for next year.
Has anyone seen the Michael Jackson Cirque du soleil show? Or any Cirque show at Arco. Is Arco a good venue for a Cirque show? I’m trying to figure out if I want to see that show in Arco or save up my money and see the “O” show in Vegas. It’s a hard call. If I see the show here I won’t have to pay for airfare or hotel, but if it’s an inferior show then I’d rather save my money and go to Vegas. Tickets are about $200. I should have seen the show last time I was in Vegas as that was one of the main reasons I went, but my friend was really adamant about not going so I didn’t go.
One thing I am learning about myself is I have more regrets about the things I haven’t done then the things I’ve done in my life. You may think this quite odd as you can probably name a few things that you think I’d regret doing, but I realize that those experiences have made me who I am.
Thus said I am now getting out of my comfort zone and doing a lot more. Taking more chances and having fun along the way. Every adventure hasn’t produced roses, but I’ve come out smelling like roses every time.
Some highlights of my doing are: Jan. ‘11 I finally got to shot a gun and got a perfect bulls eye. I also got to go Go-cart racing, May ’11 I finally made it to Europe and saw the Eiffel tower, Oct. ’11 I went to Bali, and this past Nov. ’11 I finally got the courage take snowboarding lessons and am loving it. Over the past 6 months I have moved 4 times and with every move I’m less hesitant and am getting quicker at getting myself out of sticky situations.
